Wow, I've come across another shockingly interesting piece of work.
This film is a prequel to the previous film, set nine years after Mad Max: Fury Road.
I deeply regretted not being able to go to the theater to see Mad Max: Fury Road, so this time I made sure to watch it in IMAX on the first day.
It was simply an exquisite 2 hours and 30 minutes.
It's interesting from start to finish.
Anya Taylor-Joy's Furiosa is so cool I could watch it forever, and the child Furiosa looks just like Anya.
Some people say the childhood part is too long, but I think it's really good.
Fury Road → Furiosa → Fury Road. I'm sure I'm not the only one who watched them in that order.
Also, while people who went to see it this time gave it rave reviews across the board, the box office receipts were a huge flop due to the curse of political correctness, which has been problematic in the past and which thinks that just by forcing a strong woman into the film regardless of the subject matter, it's fine.
It's not that strong women are bad, it's just that the storyline is twisted to suit them...
Anyway, it would be a shame to miss George Miller's sequel because of this, so make sure you experience it at the cinema. I guarantee it will be a great movie experience.
