WHOLEGARMENT is a type of seamless knitwear produced by the world’s first WHOLEGARMENT flat knitting machine, uniquely developed by SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. Because the entire piece is knitted as one, it has no seams, resulting in a garment that makes the most of the inherent elasticity of the knit fabric. The yarn used is Australian virgin extra-super-fine merino wool. The cuffs feature extended ribbing and finger holes, allowing them to serve as gloves during the cold winter months.
