WHOLEGARMENT is seamless knitwear produced using the world's first specialized flat knitting machine, uniquely developed by Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. Because the entire garment is constructed by knitting, there are no seams, resulting in knitwear that fully utilizes the natural elasticity of the fabric. The yarn is 80% wool, 10% cashmere, and 10% silk. The cuffs feature elongated ribbing and finger holes, serving as a substitute for gloves during the cold winter months.

The designer views the origin of clothing as the moment Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil (the forbidden fruit) in the Old Testament, and uses an "apple" as the brand's icon as a reminder to never forget the original intent behind clothing and craftsmanship.
