26AW Collection

Designer: Nobuyuki Matsui
Nobuyuki Matsui is a fashion brand by designer Nobuyuki Matsui. After graduating from high school, Nobuyuki Matsui moved to England to study psychology, but in 2011, he enrolled in the London College of Fashion. He studied menswear and, while still a student, won an award at Fashion Scout, a fashion competition for young designers at London Fashion Week, where he held a runway show. After that, he gained experience at a young maison before returning to Japan. In the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, he officially launched his eponymous brand, "Nobuyuki Matsui." He presents bespoke clothing in a collection format. He handles everything from pattern making to sewing and fabric processing himself, presenting his work as custom-made clothing and sometimes as artwork. In Spring/Summer 2018, he launched his first ready-to-wear collection.
