The inspiration from him, who pursued his own path regardless of the times or adversity and sought new movements, not only shows a strong connection to this season's theme, but also expresses a balance of coexistence as a design, despite the sense of incongruity, by combining it with a mask, which is an inherent traditional item from Africa, his roots.

"Lamrof" was launched in 2021 by Daisuke Sakamoto, a designer from Sendai.
The brand name "Lamrof" uses a reverse spelling that was popular among African American jazz musicians in the 1940s, reversing "Formal" to mean "wearing formal wear ideologically in opposition," and expressing respect for the history and culture of African Americans, who have had a tremendous influence worldwide from the past to the present.
The highly original and high-quality collection, which does not lean towards general modern trends, is fully infused with the designer's background, who has gained experience with various famous brands and now also handles numerous visual creations.
