Lamrof "Detroit Red Cap"
Detroit Red Cap from Lamrof.
A 6-panel cap with an embroidered "DETROIT RED" nickname, inspired by Malcolm X's red hair dancing in a disco during his gang days.
The back side also features an Arabic embroidery meaning "DISCO".
Produced in respect of his charisma during his gang days and his nickname.
Considering daily practicality, the material is finished to bring out softness by combining product washing and bio-washing, but it has been improved to hold its shape more firmly than spring/summer models.
The head top position is set higher (deeper) compared to an average 6-panel cap.

Designer: Daisuke Sakamoto
"Lamrof" was started in 2021 by designer Daisuke Sakamoto, who hails from Sendai.
The brand name "Lamrof" is "Formal" spelled backward, using the reverse spelling popular among African-American jazz musicians in the 1940s. It carries the meaning of "wearing formal attire in ideological opposition," expressing respect for African-American history and culture, which has had a profound influence worldwide from the past to the present.
The highly original, high-quality collection, which does not merely follow current trends, is fully imbued with the designer's background, having gained experience with various famous brands and now also handling numerous visual creations.
