As the name suggests, this is an "artisan" shirt where every detail, from the material and sewing to the dyeing process, is meticulously crafted.
KANEMASA PHIL. creates its unique 46G super high gauge plain weave fabric.
It uses 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton.
Then, salt shrinking treatment is applied.
This material, with its unique creped texture, is one-of-a-kind.
After that, it undergoes garment dyeing.
Special soft dyeing is applied to enhance the drape and sheerness of the material.
During drying, each item is air-dried naturally, preserving the texture of the material.
Highly stretchable and incredibly comfortable once worn, it's a new staple material that can be casually thrown on.
The high-gauge material, often considered delicate, is finished with meticulous details.
The raw edges of the hem, sleeves, and pockets, as well as the gathers on the yoke and cuffs, are all crafted in domestic Japanese sewing factories.
The details are inspired by dress shirts.
It is finished with mother-of-pearl buttons.
The brand's logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
It features a box silhouette with a generous width.
The drape when worn creates a unique atmosphere.
By minimizing raw edges and interlining, the silhouette is constructed solely from the fabric's texture.
