KANEMASA PHIL. 46G Artisan Shirt
As the name suggests, this is an "artisan" shirt, with meticulous attention paid to every detail, from the material to the sewing and dyeing process.
We created a super high-gauge plain knit using KANEMASA PHIL.'s unique 46G.
It is made of 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton.
After that, it underwent salt-shrink processing.
This material, with its unique textured surface, is one-of-a-kind.
Then, it underwent garment dyeing.
Special soft dyeing processing was applied to enhance the material's drape and sheer quality.
During drying, each piece is air-dried individually to preserve the texture of the material.
With high stretchability, it offers a comfort that's irresistible once worn, a new staple material that can be effortlessly draped.
The high-gauge material, which is often considered difficult due to its thinness, is finished with meticulous details.
The raw edges of the hem, sleeves, and pockets, as well as the gathers on the yoke and cuffs, are all crafted in Japanese sewing factories.
The details are inspired by dress shirts.
It is finished with mother-of-pearl buttons.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
It features a box silhouette with ample width.
The drape when worn creates a shirt with an unparalleled ambiance.
Furthermore, by minimizing the use of interlining and having raw edges, the silhouette is constructed solely from the fabric's texture.
*Salt-shrink processing: A process that creates an uneven surface by permeating the fabric with chemicals and causing it to shrink.
*As organic cotton is used, contamination may occur, but please understand that this is characteristic of the fabric.
*Due to specifications in the production process, minor fraying and damage may occur. This may worsen with wear and washing. Please handle with care.
