Just as its name suggests, this is an "artisan" shirt, with every detail, from the material to the sewing and dyeing process, meticulously crafted. KANEMASA PHIL. created this jersey fabric using their unique 46G super high-gauge knitting technique. It is made from 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton. After knitting, it undergoes a salt-shrinking process. This material, with its unique creped texture, is truly one-of-a-kind. Following this, it is garment-dyed. A special soft-dyeing process is applied to enhance the fabric's drape and sheerness. During drying, each piece is air-dried individually to preserve the material's texture. It offers exceptional stretch and comfort that makes you never want to take it off once you wear it, making it a new staple fabric that can be easily thrown on. The high-gauge material, which is typically considered difficult to work with due to its thinness, is finished with meticulous details. The raw edges of the hem, sleeves, and pockets, as well as the gathers on the yoke and cuffs, are all crafted in sewing factories in Japan. The details are inspired by dress shirts. It is finished with mother-of-pearl buttons. The brand's logo is engraved on the back of the buttons. It features a box silhouette with a generous body width. The drape when worn creates a unique atmosphere unlike any other shirt. Furthermore, by keeping the raw edges and minimizing the use of interlining, the silhouette is constructed solely by the fabric's texture. *Salt-shrinking process: A process in which chemicals are permeated into the fabric to shrink it, creating an uneven surface texture. *Due to the use of organic cotton, contamination may occur, but please understand that this is inherent to the fabric. *Due to specifications in the production process, minor fraying or damage may occur.
