KANEMASA PHIL. 36G Check Valise Short Sleeve Shirt.
We have created a new shirt style called "Balise".
"Balise" is French for "signpost," and this new style features a size and details that bridge the gap between workwear and dress wear, and between a shirt and a blouson.
The versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, will become a benchmark pattern and a future staple for us.
We achieved the high-density plain weave structure of typewriter cloth using a super high gauge of 36G.
Highly stretchable and so comfortable you won't want to take it off once you've worn it, it also exhibits minimal shape changes like wrinkles during wear and is easy to care for.
This is a new standard shirt fabric that only we can create, combining crispness, luster, and easy care.
For the details, we adopted dress shirt specifications, with all seams fully French-seamed and genuine shell buttons.
The sleeves, however, were designed with a casual blouson image.
This is a one-of-a-kind shirt that fuses the crispness and luster of the material, a perfectly balanced silhouette, and a pattern that complements the fabric's dressy feel.
The cotton yarn raw material is a fine-count 160/1 recycled Suvin cotton, used as a two-ply yarn.
By using gas-singed yarn, we further enhance its luster and suppress pilling after washing.
We use 75D high-crimp recycled polyester to provide stretch.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
* French seam (makifuse honnui) - A sewing method where, to ensure a smooth feel against the skin, the fabric edge is first sewn, then folded over and stitched again so that the raw edge is not visible.
