KANEMASA PHIL. 36G Check Valise Short Sleeve Shirt.
We have created a new type of shirt called "Balise."
Named after the French word for "signpost," this new style features a size and details that fall between workwear and dress wear, and between a shirt and a blouson.
The versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, will serve as a guiding, standard pattern for us in the future.
We've achieved a high-density plain weave structure, similar to typewriter fabric, using a super high-gauge knit of 36G.
It offers high stretchability for an addictive comfort, minimal shape changes like wrinkles during wear, and easy care.
This new standard shirt fabric, which combines crispness, luster, and easy care, can only be made by us.
The details incorporate elements of a dress shirt, with all seams fully French-seamed and genuine shell buttons.
The sleeves, however, were designed with a casual blouson in mind.
This unique shirt blends the crispness and luster of the material, a well-balanced silhouette, and a pattern that integrates with the fabric's dressy feel.
The cotton yarn is a fine 160/1 count recycled Suvin cotton, used as a ply yarn.
By using gassed yarn, we further enhance its luster and minimize pilling after washing.
We use 75D high-crimp recycled polyester for stretchability.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
*French seam construction: A sewing method where, to ensure a smooth feel against the skin, the fabric edge is sewn once and then folded over and sewn again, so that the raw edge is not visible.
