Normally, ribbing would be used for the hem and cuffs, but this item uses tucks instead.
The tucks in the body and sleeves create a voluminous silhouette.
Original patches are hand-sewn.

KANEI
The concept is "clothing that serves as a compass for travelers."
Incorporating cultures, colors, materials, and artisan craftsmanship encountered through travel, KANEI develops clothing that weaves together tradition and craftsmanship.
The brand aims to create clothing that acts as a compass for modern travelers who continue to challenge themselves.
Hironaga Yamaoka was born in Gifu Prefecture in 2002.
He immersed himself in creative activities from a young age, launched a koinobori (carp streamer) brand at 16, and collaborated with Kyoto dyeing artisans.
In 2022, he received the GOOD DESIGN NEW HOPE AWARD.
In 2024, he graduated from Bunka Fashion College. In the same year, he received numerous awards, including the Next Fashion Designer of Tokyo Special Selection Award.
In 2025, he will launch "KANEI" with the 25AW collection.
