MATERIAL
Made from uncolored worsted yarn from Peruvian alpaca (the color of the fabric comes only from the raw materials and is not dyed).
Alpaca wool has better heat retention than wool.
This high-quality thread is woven on an old-fashioned, slow-speed Schonherr loom, operated by a long-established weaving factory in Bishu that has been in business since the Taisho era.
The warp and weft threads of this fabric are loosely interwoven to allow air to enter, resulting in three-dimensional volume, wrinkle-resistant elastic recovery, and a smooth texture that prevents pilling.
This is the finest 100% alpaca fabric, available nowhere else in the world.
