Just as its name suggests, this "artisan" shirt is meticulously crafted from the material to the sewing and even the dyeing process. KANEMASA PHIL. creates jersey fabric using its unique 46G super high gauge. It uses 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton. Afterward, a salt-shrink process is applied. This material, with its distinctive textured surface, is truly one-of-a-kind. Following that, it undergoes garment dyeing. A special softening and dyeing process is applied to enhance the fabric's drape and sheer quality. During drying, each piece is air-dried naturally to preserve the fabric's texture. With high stretchability, it offers comfort that makes it hard to take off once worn, and it's a new staple material that can be casually layered. This high-gauge material, which is typically difficult to work with due to its thinness, is finished with meticulous details. The frayed hems, sleeves, and pockets, along with the gathers on the yoke and cuffs, are all produced in sewing factories in Japan. The details are adopted from dress shirts. It's finished with mother-of-pearl buttons. The brand's logo is engraved on the back of the buttons. It features a box silhouette with ample width. The drape when worn creates a unique ambiance. Furthermore, by fraying the edges and minimizing the use of interlining, the silhouette is constructed solely by the fabric's texture. *Salt-shrink process: A process in which chemicals are permeated into the fabric to shrink it, creating a textured surface. *Due to the use of organic cotton, contamination may occur, but please note that this is characteristic of the fabric. *Due to specifications in the production process, minor fraying or damage may occur.
