As the name suggests, this is an "artisan" shirt, with every detail, from the material to the sewing and dyeing process, meticulously crafted.
It features a KANEMASA PHIL. original 46G super high-gauge jersey fabric.
Made from 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton.
After that, salt shrinkage processing was applied.
This material, with its unique creped texture, is one-of-a-kind.
Then, garment dyeing was applied.
Special soft dyeing processing was used to enhance the drape and sheer quality of the material.
During drying, each piece is naturally air-dried to preserve the texture of the fabric.
With high stretchability, it offers an irresistible comfort once worn, and is a new staple material that can be lightly thrown on.
The high-gauge material, which is usually considered difficult to work with due to its thinness, is finished with meticulously crafted details.
The raw edges of the hem, sleeves, and pockets, as well as the gathers on the yoke and cuffs, are all created in sewing factories in Japan.
The details are adopted from dress shirts.
Finished with mother-of-pearl buttons.
The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
It features a box silhouette with a generous body width.
The drape when worn creates a unique atmosphere for this shirt.
Furthermore, by using raw edges for sizing and minimizing the use of interlining, the silhouette is constructed solely from the texture of the fabric.
*Salt shrinkage processing - a process where chemicals are permeated into the fabric to shrink it, creating an uneven surface texture.
