As the name suggests, this "artisan" shirt is meticulously crafted in every aspect, from the material and sewing to the dyeing process. KANEMASA PHIL. creates jersey fabric using its unique 46G super high gauge. It is made from 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton. After that, it undergoes salt shrinkage processing. This material, with its unique textured surface, is one-of-a-kind. Subsequently, it is garment-dyed. Special soft dyeing is applied to enhance the drape and sheerness of the material. During drying, each item is air-dried individually to preserve the texture of the fabric. With high stretchability, it offers comfort that is hard to give up once worn, and it's a new staple material that can be worn lightly. The high-gauge material, which is often difficult to work with due to its thinness, is finished with meticulous details. The frayed hems, sleeves, and pockets, as well as the gathers on the yokes and cuffs, are all crafted in Japanese sewing factories. The details are adopted from dress shirts. It is finished with shell buttons. The brand's logo is engraved on the back of the buttons. It features a distinctive box silhouette with ample width. The drape when worn gives the shirt a unique feel. Furthermore, by keeping the raw edges and minimizing the use of interlining, the silhouette is constructed solely from the fabric's texture. *Salt shrinkage processing - A process where chemicals are permeated into the fabric to shrink it, creating an uneven surface. *As organic cotton is used, contamination may occur, but please be aware that this is inherent to the fabric. *Due to specifications in the production process, minor fraying and damage may occur. These may spread with wear and washing. Please handle with care.
