YOKO SAKAMOTO "WORK SHIRT"
This is a work shirt from the YOKO SAKAMOTO 26AW collection.
A double-sided brushed flannel using cotton-linen blended yarn for the warp, and cotton-linen blended yarn and silk dropped-fiber neps for the weft.
By using yarns that have been hand-dyed with "kasuri" (ikat) technique, a subtle, appearing-and-disappearing plaid pattern is recreated.
The fabric is brushed on both sides and then finished with a tumbling process to give it a soft, worn-in texture, as if it has been worn for years.
