KANEMASA PHIL. 46G Striped Artisan Shirt
This shirt truly embodies the name "Artisan," with meticulous attention paid to every detail of the material, sewing, and dyeing processes.
We knitted a plain jersey material using KANEMASA PHIL.'s unique 46-gauge super high-gauge knitting machine, utilizing 100% 80/1 recycled Suvin cotton.
By printing a stripe pattern on the salt-shrink processed fabric, we created a new material that coexists with a unique crimped texture and pattern expression.
It is characterized by a one-of-a-kind material feel with a three-dimensional effect and depth that cannot be found elsewhere.
Afterward, product dyeing (garment dye) is applied, and special soft dyeing processing further enhances the natural drape and sheer feel of the material.
During the drying process, each piece is naturally air-dried to carefully finish the fabric without compromising its texture.
It combines the lightness and high stretchability unique to high-gauge materials, providing a comfortable fit that you won't want to let go of once you try it on.
We propose it as a new standard material that can be easily worn.
Even in terms of sewing, we paid close attention to detail, carefully tailoring the thin and difficult-to-handle high-gauge material at a skilled domestic sewing factory.
The hems, cuffs, and pockets are intentionally left raw-cut, and gathers are applied to the yoke and cuffs, achieving both a handcrafted feel and delicacy.
The details are designed based on a dress shirt.
Shell buttons are used, with the brand's logo engraved on the back.
The relaxed box silhouette is also a feature.
The beautiful drape created when worn is a charm unique to this material.
Additionally, by minimizing the use of raw-cut specifications and interlining, the silhouette is constructed while making the most of the fabric's original texture.
A new stripe pattern has been added to the Artisan Shirt, which is developed as a brand staple.
This piece allows you to enjoy the expression of the material and the depth of the pattern.
*Salt-shrinking process: This process involves impregnating the fabric with chemicals to shrink it, creating a unique unevenness and crimped texture on the fabric surface.
*Due to the use of organic cotton, contamination (mixing of different fibers) may be observed.
Please consider this as a characteristic texture of the material.
*Due to the nature of the product, minor fraying or damage may be observed. Also, changes may occur with repeated wear and washing, so please handle with care.
