The BOMBER JACKET, a classic INNAT item.
Based on the L-2B type, which removed the epaulets of the 1960s, it is constructed with a neat silhouette that eliminates waste.
The lining uses an original brushed-back material made from a blend of cupro, rayon, and wool.
By intentionally utilizing the difference in wool shrinkage on the back caused by product processing, a natural puckering effect is created on the front and back.
Even though it is new, it reproduces the appearance of a "perfected garment" found in a vintage store.
For dyeing, Bengala dye, which has been passed down in Takahashi City, Okayama Prefecture, is used.
Using pigments made from oxidized iron in the soil, a byproduct of copper mines, each piece is hand-dyed.
This season, by applying Bengala dye over a light gray fabric, a deep texture is created, reminiscent of chambray, where the underlying light gray color is also visible.
It was not easy to achieve the differences in shrinkage and dyeing caused by combining materials with different compositions through product dyeing, but through repeated trial and error, the expression has been realized.
This jacket exudes a quiet presence with its unique color unevenness from hand-dyeing and its deep color tones.
It is reversible.
