Yesterday, I had a day off, and the night before I suddenly wondered how long I could run a half marathon! ? So I started running 22km in the morning, the longest distance of my life.
From my house, I walked through Notame and then headed towards the airport.
The cherry blossoms along the road were also blooming, which gave me strength.
I think I was able to run in a better time than I expected.
I usually aim for a 12km run that doesn't leave my body feeling tired, but after running about 20km I was able to see where my legs were weak and learned a lot from them.
I managed to complete a half marathon by myself, but my hip joints and calves were in severe pain from the middle of the race, so I had no choice but to do strength training.
If things continue like this, it will be difficult to even reach the sub-4th full marathon, which is one of my goals for this year. . .
Anyway, I'm going to lose 100km this month. I am steadily working towards my annual goal of 1000 km.
