New brand "KANEI"

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Rich I event.
We are very happy that a wide range of customers, from regular attendees to those attending for the first time, enjoyed the event.
We will probably hold the event again next time, so even if you couldn't make it this time, please look forward to it.
Today, we would like to introduce some new items from a new brand that we have just received.
KANEI
The concept is "clothing that serves as a compass for travelers."
The brand incorporates the cultures, colors, materials, and artisanal handiwork encountered during its travels to create clothing that weaves together tradition and craftsmanship.
We aim to create clothing that serves as a compass for modern travelers who continue to take on challenges.
Yamaoka Kan'ei Born in Gifu Prefecture in 2002.
He was immersed in creative activities from an early age, and at the age of 16 he launched a carp streamer brand, working with dyeing artisans in Kyoto to create products.
Received the GOOD DESIGN NEW HOPE AWARD in 2022.
He graduated from Bunka Fashion College in 2024. In the same year, he won numerous awards, including the Next Fashion Designer of Tokyo Special Selection Award.
"KANEI" will be launched in 2025 from 25AW.
We started carrying the brand when the designer, Mr. Yamaoka, happened to come visit PRANK STORE and we heard about him starting his own brand. I had been following him on Instagram and had seen his looks, and I wanted to start carrying his brand at PRANK STORE, so I went to the exhibition.
I am delighted that PRANK STORE will be able to display Kanei items, reflecting the world view that Yamaoka has incorporated into his clothing.
The first delivery of 26SS from KANEI has arrived.

Koinobori Patch Tuck Sweatshirt

Koinobori patch tuck sweatshirt.
Unlike regular sweatshirts, it does not have a rib, and is made entirely of outer fabric with tucks.
The final process is a spray finish, which gives it a vintage faded look while emphasizing the three-dimensionality of the tucks.
Hand stitching is applied to the tuck parts and as a focal point.
Made from medium-weight corrugated knit fabric.
The surface is sprayed.
It has a three-dimensional texture.
Hand-Stitched Tuck Sweatshirt
